Divis\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Animal do Departamento de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Criminal da Capital (DPA\/DIC), em opera\u00e7\u00e3o conjunta com a Diretoria de Bem-Estar Animal (DIBEA) de Palho\u00e7a, prendeu em flagrante um homem pelo crime de maus-tratos qualificado contra c\u00e3es, sem ra\u00e7a definida, no bairro Caminho Novo, em Palho\u00e7a.<br \/>O caso repercutiu nas redes sociais ap\u00f3s divulga\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00eddeo em que uma cachorra fora encontrada viva, mas bastante machucada, dentro de um saco, em uma lixeira na frente da resid\u00eancia do suspeito. <br \/>A Pol\u00edcia Civil e o \u00f3rg\u00e3o municipal de fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o deslocaram para verifica\u00e7\u00e3o, inclusive da situa\u00e7\u00e3o dos demais c\u00e3es que estavam sob responsabilidade do suspeito, sendo que encontraram os animais em ambiente bastante sujo, sem acesso \u00e0 \u00e1gua, alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e qualquer abrigo contra intemp\u00e9ries. Ainda, os vizinhos confirmaram que as agress\u00f5es eram recorrentes.<br \/>O c\u00e3o encontrado na lixeira foi levado a atendimento m\u00e9dico-veterin\u00e1rio por terceira e os demais c\u00e3es foram resgatados e est\u00e3o sob os cuidados da DIBEA de Palho\u00e7a, at\u00e9 a finaliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos tr\u00e2mites para a ado\u00e7\u00e3o respons\u00e1vel.
