Ap\u00f3s ter sido apurada a proced\u00eancia das informa\u00e7\u00f5es e ter sido identificado o endere\u00e7o do criadouro, houve uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o integrada entre a Pol\u00edcia Civil e a Diretoria de Bem Estar Animal.<\/p>\n<p>Naquela oportunidade, embora n\u00e3o houvesse ningu\u00e9m na casa no momento, foi poss\u00edvel a visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de alguns c\u00e3es da esp\u00e9cie American Staffordshire Terrier e derivados da ra\u00e7a PitBull Terrier no p\u00e1tio, sendo que um deles se encontrava em um confinamento considerado inadequado pelos veterin\u00e1rios do Bem Estar animal, uma vez que sua movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica estava completamente prejudicada, o que configurou o crime de maus tratos previsto no artigo 32, \u00a71\u00b0-A, da Lei 9.605\/1998, cuja pena em abstrato, em caso de condena\u00e7\u00e3o, pode alcan\u00e7ar de dois a cinco anos de reclus\u00e3o, multa e proibi\u00e7\u00e3o da guarda dos animais.<\/p>\n<p>Assim, ao final do inqu\u00e9rito policial e com base em ind\u00edcios robustos de autoria e materialidade, houve o indiciamento do respons\u00e1vel pelo canil no crime narrado acima.
