Durante a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, o ve\u00edculo usado pelos suspeitos do homic\u00eddio foi localizado em Timb\u00e9 do Sul e, em menos de 24 horas, um casal suspeito foi preso. Ap\u00f3s tomar conhecimento do crime de homic\u00eddio, registrado no amanhecer da quinta-feira (15), quando foi localizado um corpo carbonizado na localidade de Fundo Grande, em Ararangu\u00e1, policiais civis e militares realizaram dilig\u00eancias e trabalharam em conjunto. As trocas de informa\u00e7\u00f5es entre as equipes levaram \u00e0 identifica\u00e7\u00e3o do carro usado pelos suspeitos para abordar a v\u00edtima e lev\u00e1-la at\u00e9 o local onde foi queimada. Os policiais realizaram buscas para localizar o ve\u00edculo, que ocorreu no final da tarde, na cidade de Timb\u00e9 do Sul. O autom\u00f3vel estava sendo lavado no momento em que foi localizado pelos policiais.<\/p><p>No mesmo local onde foi encontrado o carro usado no crime, foi identificada a casa onde estavam os propriet\u00e1rios desse ve\u00edculo. Com o apoio da Pol\u00edcia Militar, foram cumpridas buscas no im\u00f3vel e encontradas por\u00e7\u00f5es de \u201ccrack\u201d, assim como obtidas informa\u00e7\u00f5es que levaram ao esclarecimento do homic\u00eddio praticado horas antes.
