Pol\u00edcia Civil de Santa Catarina, por meio da Delegacia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Animal do Departamento de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Criminal da Capital (DPA\/DIC), concluiu investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e indiciou uma mulher pelo crime de maus-tratos qualificado contra c\u00e3o, mediante o abandono de uma cadela, em frente a uma petshop localizada no bairro Agron\u00f4mica, em Florian\u00f3polis\/SC.<\/p><p>Com a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, identificou-se a mulher que abandonou uma cadela idosa, sem ra\u00e7a definida (mistura com pitbull), em um domingo, em frente a uma petshop. O estabelecimento comercial encontrava-se fechado no momento do ato e a tutora colocou e amarrou a cadela, debilitada e com n\u00f3dulos pelo corpo, por meio das grades de prote\u00e7\u00e3o, em frente \u00e0 porta de acesso da loja. Populares levaram comida e cobertores para o animal, que acabou passando a noite no frio e na chuva (pois atingia o ambiente).<\/p><p>Em decorr\u00eancia da repercuss\u00e3o do caso, ao tomar conhecimento do ocorrido, a filha da investigada, a qual n\u00e3o mora com a m\u00e3e e n\u00e3o teve envolvimento no crime, foi ao local e recolheu a can\u00eddea \u201cASPARTA\u201d, a qual se encontra agora sob seus cuidados e receber\u00e1 acompanhamento m\u00e9dico-veterin\u00e1rio, o que ser\u00e1 monitorado.<\/p><p>Em interrogat\u00f3rio, a investigada alegou dificuldades pessoais, financeiras e psicol\u00f3gicas, para resguardar a cadela, argumentos que n\u00e3o s\u00e3o suficientes para afastar sua responsabilidade, a qual \u00e9 inerente ao ato de possuir um animal dom\u00e9stico sob sua tutela.<\/p><p>A investigada foi indiciada e responder\u00e1 criminalmente tanto pela neglig\u00eancia nos cuidados quanto pelo abandono, ambos modalidades do crime de maus-tratos, com pena m\u00e1xima prevista de at\u00e9 cinco anos de pris\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de multa, sujeita aos procedimentos processuais penais.
