Pol\u00edcia Civil de Santa Catarina, por meio da Delegacia da Comarca de S\u00e3o Carlos, prendeu no final da tarde desta ter\u00e7a-feira (15\/07), o autor de um crime contra uma mulher, na noite de 10 de julho. Na ocasi\u00e3o, moradores vizinhos foram surpreendidos com uma casa pegando fogo no munic\u00edpio de S\u00e3o Carlos, no Oeste catarinense.<\/p><p>Ap\u00f3s a conten\u00e7\u00e3o das chamas, foi poss\u00edvel constatar que no interior do im\u00f3vel estava o corpo da mulher, que morreu carbonizada. A v\u00edtima foi identificada por meio de exame de compara\u00e7\u00e3o de arcada dent\u00e1ria como Bartira Fontoura Mergen, de 35 anos de idade, moradora e natural da cidade.<\/p><p>A Pol\u00edcia Civil tomou conhecimento do acontecimento e imediatamente iniciou as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es, ainda durante a madrugada, a fim de apurar as circunst\u00e2ncias do caso, a princ\u00edpio tratado como inc\u00eandio de origem desconhecida.<\/p><p>O trabalho policial evoluiu ao longo dos \u00faltimos dias e foi poss\u00edvel comprovar que o inc\u00eandio ocorreu de forma criminosa, bem como identificar o autor do crime.<\/p><p>Conforme apurado, o investigado, tamb\u00e9m morador local, era desafeto de outro homem, este namorado da v\u00edtima. Por essa raz\u00e3o, aparentemente sob efeito de \u00e1lcool, ele foi at\u00e9 o local e, sem se importar com a presen\u00e7a da v\u00edtima no interior da resid\u00eancia, inicialmente ateou fogo em um colch\u00e3o, o qual utilizou para espalhar as chamas pela resid\u00eancia, constru\u00e7\u00e3o predominantemente constitu\u00edda por madeira.<\/p><p>O corpo foi encontrado j\u00e1 na parte debaixo da resid\u00eancia, pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 porta de sa\u00edda, dando a entender que a v\u00edtima acordou durante o inc\u00eandio e ainda tentou fugir da casa em chamas.<\/p><p>O trabalho policial segue para finaliza\u00e7\u00e3o das dilig\u00eancias pendentes, com prazo de dez dias para finaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do inqu\u00e9rito policial em virtude da pris\u00e3o do
