Pol\u00edcia Civil de Santa Catarina, por meio da Delegacia de Pol\u00edcia da Comarca de Maravilha, concluiu, na tarde desta ter\u00e7a-feira (11\/11), um inqu\u00e9rito policial que apurava o descarte irregular de materiais hospitalares em lixo comum, nas proximidades de uma escola do munic\u00edpio.<\/p><p>A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o teve in\u00edcio ap\u00f3s dois garis se ferirem com agulhas descartadas de forma incorreta durante a coleta do lixo seletivo. Os trabalhadores relataram o ocorrido \u00e0s autoridades competentes, e, devido ao risco de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o, precisaram receber atendimento m\u00e9dico profil\u00e1tico. A partir da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o dos fatos, a Pol\u00edcia Civil instaurou o inqu\u00e9rito e realizou dilig\u00eancias e oitivas de diversas testemunhas, o que possibilitou a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o da respons\u00e1vel pelo descarte.<\/p><p>Conforme apurado, os materiais \u2013 seringas e agulhas \u2013 eram utilizados nas aulas pr\u00e1ticas de um instituto de treinamento de profissionais da \u00e1rea de enfermagem, sediado em Maravilha. A respons\u00e1vel pelo local, uma mulher de 40 anos, foi identificada como autora do descarte irregular. Verificou-se que o instituto n\u00e3o possu\u00eda conv\u00eanio com empresa especializada para a coleta e destina\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos perigosos, o que configura infra\u00e7\u00e3o grave \u00e0 legisla\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental e sanit\u00e1ria.<\/p><p>A investigada foi indiciada pelo crime previsto no artigo 56, \u00a71\u00ba, inciso I, da Lei de Crimes Ambientais (Lei n\u00ba 9.605\/98), cuja pena pode chegar a at\u00e9 quatro anos de reclus\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de
